Each and every day Hiding from the sunshine [attr="class","quicklinks"]@mod [attr="class","quicklinks"]433 words #nofear #00bacc - speech color | [attr="class","technoscroll"] ❝ Mist curled around Judas' feet as he quietly padded through the soft undergrowth of the forest. It had taken some time for him to recover from the fright he had gotten after accidentally wandering through the mystery dungeon in the hills around that town of pokemon, but after an awkward and rather failed attempt to preen his feathers and a night's worth of sleep, he had managed to calm down some. Much as the pichu had terrified him, he had at least managed to escape... certainly he made no plans to go back there anytime... well, perhaps ever if it could be helped, but he had to admit, it had not been entirely a terrifying experience. Actually it mostly had been nervewracking, but he had found a couple items.... or really, just one item... and some coins. For whatever he could use those for.But Judas had noticed a forest, this forest, when he had reached the top of the hill, out of breath, singed, hurting, and scared to move in case he ran into another pokemon. He had nearly wolfed down the Oran berry he had found during that strange egg event before he realized, taking several moments to concentrate on deep even breaths, that he was actually out of the dungeon, and safe for the moment. There was no need to waste his berry, what if he needed ti later? Unfortunately, it took Judas to that point to remember that he had a slumber orb he could have used on the Pichu, but he had no intentions of trying the encounter again. Still, he had seen the forest, its green eaves dark, and silent from across the landscape. And it had... it had reminded him of home. It wasn't the same he knew, it was a different forest, but all he had known then was that he needed to come here. It was the closest thing he had to where he had been... so long ago. Judas had spent the night by the town and in the early morning after he had awoken scouted around, picking up a few interesting things left on counters while other pokemon were occupied, slinking past the other pokemon and trying to stay out of sight and wary of anyone passing by, but now that he was out on the road, a silken band resting around his head like a cloth laurel, he had begun to feel more and more comfortable until he had finally arrived and felt, for a moment, a sense of ease and awe. This was a forest. This was where he belonged. ZHICuI|V1-100 |
