Noon cirrus clouds trepidated against deep breezes and flickering rays. With their round, colorful shapes, the homes west of the Plaza brimmed with personality. A basket full of person-sized "berries" appeared secure from a bazaar-like roof; the round appearance of a peculiar, inn-owning Quagsire translated well to architecture; personal gardens etched around soft pavement. Faint yellow sunlight highlighted those walking about, entertained on their day to day business. Not all were so encumbered by work, duty, or schedule, however. The clock circled twice-over the wooden bench Iserora laid her tail-feathers upon, and as her heavy-footed hops indicated, she remained truly restless throughout. Wobbling on the front edge of the bench, talons wrapped around the base, Isa pondered about the day to come. Without hours spent sifting through her own notes or elucidating to the other Explorers, she had the whole day to act as tour guide.
Great news for her! Astroth was a person of good fun, even if his pride could cloud him sometimes. Plus, she got to practice her pathfinding skills in real time. That someone would get to know what's what in the town, even if she didn't want to stay for long, left her beaming with a goofy, squinting expression. Truthfully, this skill was what she expected of her job, but it shifted to more monotonous tasks more than not.
Maybe, Isa decided, she'd test the hunter's accuracy once again, and hide atop the hotel. When Astroth
Imagining a structure perhaps less round than she would've imagined, the young bird hopped out of her bench, sweeping over the floor with her cloud-like wings. Dust pushed away from the white fixtures like a magnetic broom, a feature Isa certainly appreciated. Isa wouldn't steer through the street without contact, however. With a brief, "Sorry, coming through!" Isa attempted avoiding the Titanic. Instead, she felt a wing swipe over a large rock of a Pokemon, deep yellow eyes gazing her way. "Rrrgggh." Unfortunately, neither the gargling nor the sweep caught either party's attention, as Swablu avoided the monolith of a Shelgon, and the dragon likewise continuing on. Dragons oft had more to mind than slight incidents.
Plus, as the Shelgon noticed, his shell appeared all the more shiny.
With a glance up to the hotel's base, Isa noticed her heartbeat. The round shape of the inn made hiding quite a task. Not to mention, she had no idea what the roof was made out of. With its shimmer she worried that falling off with a crack became all too probable.
The risk of an accident, however, became overpowered by a desire to check. She generally avoided leaning too much on buildings, though the makeshift plan to surprise sounded like a fun reintroduction - if she wasn't already being watched. And at the top of the building, with a watchwoman's golden eye, Isa would squat forwards and loom. Chances are, he would arrive out on his own merit, and she could swoop in!
So long, at least, as she could keep her talons in one spot.
