Always vying for peace, order, and the vanquishing of “criminal scum”, as she’d put it, Sybil puts every ounce of her body and mind to work in pursuit of a peaceful society. She cares little for rewards nor does exploring for the sake of exploring interest her in the slightest--as long as the local Pokemon are able to sleep soundly in their homes knowing that outlaws are and continue to be thrown behind bars, she’s content. Anyone who thinks otherwise best look forward to a lengthy lecture by the football fish-esque Pokemon. With such a strong sense of justice comes the reason she doesn’t have a large friend list; Sybil is orderly to the point of being strict and uptight. Very moralistic as a result of her upbringing, she holds herself (and hopes to bring others) up to a higher moral standard--unfortunately seeing things in black and white, more or less. While this doesn’t go to the point of being a complete killjoy, it certainly makes her known as a prude. Thus, Sybil may be a (self-proclaimed) saint, but she isn’t a socialite; she’s easily startled by simple vices like disorderliness to being struck with mortification when hearing so much as a jest or mention of reprehensible crimes such as murder. [attr="class","titeidol"]history The Chinchou was raised deep underwater with her Lanturn mother and a Qwilfish father, the latter of whom belonged in a rescue team. The duo were quite concerned about the moral state of the world, and so they both did their best in striving for a peaceful world--with the Lanturn taking every opportunity to help her aquatic neighbors, and the Qwilfish upholding his standards and advocating for peace and order within the guild he affiliated with as he and his team hunted for outlaws and rescued kidnapped Pokemon. While this also came with an uptight lifestyle, they still didn’t falter in passing down those same values to Sybil. Growing up just as any (fortunate, as she was constantly told) child did, albeit being cloistered, Lanturn told her cheesy stories that all came down to the message of “using your light to brighten the world and vanquish darkness” (and yes, she even flickered her own bulb) as she grew up being thoroughly well-educated by her prickly, upstanding father. Adopting such views and being inspired and amazed by her father’s job led her to want to jump the gun and become a member of the Aestemian guild in the hunter’s division at her young age. Startled, they couldn’t help but worry about what she may encounter. After all, she’s spent a good majority of her life within her home, and their home education only covered so much.
