staff auditions
it was only a matter of time but gosh I was never expecting it to happen so soon (':
hey guys !! so as you might have noticed, despite only being open for just a couple of weeks we've already grown quite a bit and of course, I'm starting to realise that to handle the amount of applications and threads coming in we're going to need a bigger team than just me and Pine to keep up to date on it all!
we're going to start taking auditions for staff roles; most importantly, dungeon moderators as and application checkers / log creators (these two go hand in hand).
- dungeon moderators as you might have guessed will keep up to date on the dungeon threads of our members, informing them what they find whenever they make a roll, roleplaying as enemy pokémon, keeping tabs on the hunger of the party as well as their hp and allocating experience points (there's a calculator for that, don't worry!) whenever a party reaches a set of stairs / the end of a dungeon. keep in mind this also requires updating the individual logs if characters level up and their stats increase, and if you've informed them they've reached a level which they can learn a new move at, replace their old move if they choose to do so!
recommended activity level - at least once a day
- application checkers / log creators are responsible for, you guessed it, checking applications and creating logs. whenever a character in the pending section is ready for assessment, you'll have to either accept their application and move them to the correct board in the 'accepted' section or list discrepancies that they need to correct before they can be accepted. in addition, once a character has been created you must create a log, which is basically an up-to-date record on a characters' stats, level, moves, etc. for creating these however, all you have to do is use a stat calculator to fill in their stats and decide how much experience they need to reach the next level. the rest can just be copied directly from their application!
recommended activity level - at least once every two days
if you have any questions, inquiries, or even are looking to offer your assistance with one of these jobs please send a message to either me or Pine . it won't be a first-come first-serve basis, although we will allocate places to people straight away if we've convinced of their capabilities. please don't be offended if we think you aren't suitable for the job, but we'd like to thank everyone who chooses to try out in advance for the offer to support us and the site!
if you're looking to try out, please copy the form below and fill it out in the form of a private message to me or Pine . we'd ask that only members with at least a week of membership to apply. thank you!
current positions
dungeon moderators -- 1/2
application checkers -- 0/2
