She’s casual and makes plenty of jokes, not afraid to make fun of others if she thinks it’ll get a laugh out of the pokemon around her. However, she is very rarely cruel to those she doesn’t think deserve it. If someone tells her they’re uncomfortable with being made fun of, she’ll quickly apologize and make fun of herself for it. On the surface, she’s a convincingly kind salandit. She likes to approach strangers and see if she can lend a hand, enjoys flirting, and can seem like an all around good, if a bit chatty, pokemon. Unless, of course, you’re a criminal. Then, Luc does her job with vicious efficiency. Things are different if that criminal is a kid - do kids really have the opportunity to change their lives like adults do, she wonders - but she’s still adamant about getting people to change their ways. By force, if she needs to. However, Luc has a hard time accepting someone as her equal. Usually she treats others like children, scolding them or outright laughing in their face when they bring up that her plan might be flawed. She’s confident to a fault and carries herself with the assurance of someone who has seen far more fights than she actually has. At best, she treats others (even those far more experienced than her) as students who need her obviously valuable tutelage. It takes a lot of effort to get her to recognize that someone is better than her; usually, it’ll take beating her multiple times at whatever she’s confident she’s better at. Then, Luc begrudgingly admits that they’ve won. That doesn’t mean she gives up, though. No, she’s -tenacious- and likes to silently brood as she plots at ways to get one over on the people stronger than her. While she’s capable of healthy rivalries, it’s far more common for Luc to start bearing a grudge. She doesn’t like being proven wrong. In fact, she hates it. The only thing she hates worse is losing. Losing and grudges have, in fact, been the main driving force behind her becoming a hunter in the first place. [attr="class","titeidol"]traits

[attr="class","titeidol"]history Luc lived a remarkably normal life. Her father, a garchomp, and her mother, a salazzle, had been explorers once upon a time but had retired to a life of running a small cafe when they learned they were going to have a child. An active child, Luc was rarely content with helping out at the cafe as her parents desired, constantly demanding to hear tales of their adventures as explorers. She often got lost in her wandering attempts to find adventure, only to be dragged home by her exhausted father and mother. For the longest time, her mind was solely set on exploring and bettering the world. Things changed quickly when she was a teenager. Someone, while the family was sleeping, had broken in to the cafe and stole everything. Her parents were unable to weather the storm; they had to close up shop permanently and take up exploring again, until they were too old to do that and had to find odd jobs around town. Luc became deeply disgruntled with how things progressed for her parents and eventually all ideas of exploring turned in to ideas of hunting down people who had caused pain. Her parents were displeased to see this change in their daughter; things happened. That was no reason to change your entire life goal! However, Luc was not easily dissuaded. Struggling to make herself a living in the small town that her parents and her had lived in, Luc decided to pack up her belongings and move to Elysia, known for its guild.
