She'll join a team of hunters if they can provide her an edge she can't get on her own, but, if it comes down to it, she'll be more than willing to leave them behind in order to finish the mission. More important than anything else is her drive for success; Quinn doesn't care who or what she needs to ruin to get there. On that note, the people Quinn associates with will often find her demeanor crass and overbearing. Just as she is intensely self-critical, so does she also cast this scathing gaze over her peers in order to pick at their weaknesses. Her upbringing taught her that any shortcoming must be fixed as soon as possible, and she is not so compliant as to not force her own opinions upon others. But, despite her harsh exterior, if one were to dig into her soul, they would find a kernel of self-doubt deep within. Though she had trained her entire life to be a hunter, she cannot help her trepidation as she dives headfirst into her new life. [attr="class","titeidol"]history Despite her young age, Quinn is no stranger to high expectations. The Kleist pride has a history of raising reputable hunters, ones who were strong and world-renown. As the newest addition to that long and rich lineage, Quinn carries the esteem of her pride upon her shoulders, and the first lesson she learned was that failure was never a possibility. From childhood, Quinn's parents spent hours instructing her on hunting techniques. Her father, a distinguished Mightyena with a myriad of scars marring his otherwise handsome features, taught her how to use her size and speed against larger enemies. He showed her where to strike to cause the most pain, how to use the tight dungeon tunnels to her advantage, and shared with her his experience as a hunter. Quinn's mother, a Luxray with feather-soft fur and an ice-cold glare, balanced out those lessons with instructions on staying levelheaded, informing Quinn that her strongest, most reliable weapon would always be a calm mind. Internalizing those lectures, Quinn grew into a rational fighter, one who would always examine the situation before starting anything. Satisfied with their daughter's growth, Quinn's parents decided it was time for her to strike out on her own. She would leave home to join the guild, where there would be nobody to protect her from judging eyes. Under the daunting scrutiny of the real world, she would have to prove herself and live up to her family name, all without a single mistake. A weaker soul would have long since crumbled under the pressure.
