[attr="class","groupidol"]outlaw | [attr="class","aboutmeidol"] [attr="class","titeidol"]personality Vashni is the type of pokemon who doesn’t seem like an outlaw. Relaxed, friendly, and quite sociable, he's always looking to meet new, interesting people. He has a very playful nature and takes delight in toying with others, whether it’s through teasing, flirting or playing pranks. Although he comes off as immature, Vashni is an adult and has been travelling the land for many years. He’s worldly and is happy to provide advice if asked. Though sociable, his hobbies are actually more in tune with solitude. Among his few routines is having a morning walk, often by himself but he’s not against company if they respect the peace of the activity. He enjoys afternoons napping underneath shady trees, sightseeing, traveling, and prefers being meticulous on the upkeep of his jaws. It’s not uncommon to see him laughing with the locals of the town he’s currently staying in. He sometimes keeps trinkets and mementos, perhaps to give value to the time he's spent somewhere or with someone. Overall, he has little trouble blending in with the average town atmosphere. Boredom is almost chronic for him, and he absolutely detests it. He shifts his interest from one thing to the next the moment it loses its charm. Though easy-going, he’s not lazy, and is more than willing to dive into dangerous situations, explore treacherous areas, and work with difficult people if he knows it’ll entertain or benefit him. He does prefer others to lead though; to him, leadership is a hassle, and it’s far more amusing to see how weird folk handle the responsibility. Vashni is content being the reliable little follower until the point his leader becomes dull and useless. When deemed necessary, Vashni can be cruel. Whether it's to enact punishment or to obtain something, he has shed his hesitance towards violence and now embraces it. He’s well-practiced in the art of threatening and tormenting others; it’s safe to say the jaws hanging behind him have crushed more than a few limbs, and he's quite proud of their power. Vashni is also fond of deception and will wait for the optimum moment to strike where it hurts if he finds a pokemon particularly unsavory. Vashni, at his core, is a lonesome and bitter pokemon. His difficulty in finding his place in this world has driven him to a fervent search for things or pokemon that can grant him a reason to waste his time. He envies genuine attachments and socializes in hopes he'll achieve something similar someday, but has always found a reason not to completely trust others. He hates betrayal more than anything, as hypocritical as it is. [attr="class","titeidol"]traits

[attr="class","titeidol"]history Vashni had once been an aspiring hunter. He was born in a quaint little town in the north and was raised by a strict and hardworking father. His father had run the local dojo, and from an early age, Vashni was training to inherit the business. The town, though small, was situated in an area close to a bounty of dungeons, making it a prime spot for a guild. There were plenty of guild members coming to the dojo every day, training themselves in the labyrinths his father had designed to become better in combat. Among his father’s regulars was an experienced huntress who worked for the local guild. The two had a close friendship, having had adventures together in the past, and their conversations would vary between jokes and genuine criticisms of each other’s fighting - Vashni admired this, and was the first to make a move when the huntress brought along her child one day. The two of them would become as close as their parents, growing up as best friends who battled, played, and became the town’s troublemakers together. When the two of them grew older, they agreed to form a team. Vashni didn’t hate working at the dojo, but it seemed boring when compared to the thrill of tracking down criminals in faraway places. His father didn’t take well to this, adamantly proclaiming that he would fail and return home soon after he stepped out. Vashni brushed this off, assuming he would prove his father wrong and be able to return with his name revered, his bag full of riches, and his best friend standing proudly at his side. They both signed up at the guild, undergoing the standard rookie training and treatment. Slowly but surely, they began to climb the ranks. Vashni’s friend was far more dedicated and just than he was; appropriate as his friend had took on the leader role while Vashni acted as the loyal partner. They gained more teammates and were well on their way to fulfilling Vashni’s dream. Their guild wasn’t far from the dojo, yet Vashni hadn’t heard a word from his father since leaving, and both of them were too prideful to come see the other until the ‘bet’ was settled. The trouble started during a mission. It was a simple scenario: a known outlaw had captured one of the locals and was holding them hostage until he was paid ransom. Their job was to stop the outlaw from continuing his crimes. The dungeon had been one they had traversed in plenty of times. Confident in their combined strength, they decided to go as only as a duo and allow their other teammates some time to rest. All was well and good as they moved up the staircases, determined to finish the job quickly and with as few casualties as possible. But they had underestimated the outlaw. They fought him, cornered him, but they hadn’t prepared for the criminal to carry out his threats. The duo was paralyzed as they watched the civilian die before them. Enraged, Vashni acted first, lunging for the outlaw and taking him in between his jaws. He had to give him what he deserved. It was never the same after that. Who he thought was his best friend had reported him to the guild, doing what they deemed was right. It was a feeling unlike anything Vashni had felt thus far, and it was at that moment he decided he would run. It pained him to think everything they had worked for was for nothing, and that his friend had the audacity to betray him and have his life ruined. He would be thrown in jail for who-knows-how long, he would rot in a cell doing nothing, surrounded by awful pokemon. His name was tarnished forever. So he threw that name away. He traveled from town to town, trying to find the right name, people, and ambitions, but none had really lasted. He was quick to leave when things went sour, when the guilds would come too close to finding him, or when he made too many mistakes. Fortunately, being no different from the average Mawile, Vashni found it easy to simply take on a new name and start over in a town far enough from his last. After years of aimless wandering, he finds himself at Elysia – a little town that struck some nostalgic cord within him. Shedding his old name, he now goes by ‘Vashni Guiscard’, something a little fancy, foreign enough that he’ll seem more like a curious wanderer than an outlaw on the run. | [attr="class","glanceidol"]Vashni Guiscard; real name unknown [attr="class","glanceidol"]Vash or Vani [attr="class","glanceidol"]Male [attr="class","glanceidol"]Mawile [attr="class","glanceidol"]level 5 [attr="class","glanceidol"]27 [attr="class","glanceidol"]Impish [attr="class","glanceidol"]Proud of its power [attr="class","glanceidol"]Intimidate [attr="class","glanceidol"]played by sleepy |
