She's a shining beacon of energy, always ready to jump into the action and help other pokemon in need. Her boundless energy often reaches the point of restlessness though, spurring her to sometimes act unnecessarily and recklessly. This, coupled with her determination to prove herself, can be a lot to handle, but it does allow her to be creative in fixing situations (that she gets herself in, more often than not). Elodie is a motivator. She's constantly pushing herself and others to improve, believing that no one is beyond help, and that everyone has their own strengths. Although she can come off rather dense, Elodie possesses good intuition about the emotions of other pokemon and the state of relationships. Being raised by battle-ready psychics had taught her how to read expressions and control her own emotions, but that did come with a price in the form of her ego. She often chooses to ignore her own state of being because she thinks it's a sign of weakness. Frustration and anger are left to boil, which may lead to some petty attitudes later on. Her primary goal is ultimately to be the best she can be, which is apparently synonymous with being 'the best of the best'. Aside from her love of adventure and battle, she also has a particular fondness for food. Elodie isn't picky with her flavors - however much she favors sweets - but will adamantly refuse to eat anything that isn't fresh, has a bad odor, or plain looks awful. While not as impressive as some of her siblings and her parents (who had spent the majority of life learning to cook while on the road), she does share the family's skill in making tasty dishes out of unusual ingredients. [attr="class","titeidol"]history Elodie's parents had been retired explorers. Done with their days of treasure hunting and rescue work, the Espeon and Girafarig duo began to travel around, eventually establishing 'The Wanderlust Wagon' - a shop that rarely stayed in one town, but catered to pokemon on the road. Their most popular products were often food, as hungry travelers were a typical sight in the wilderness. Her mom had become pretty well-known for her berry dishes. Elodie was the second of her parents' four children. As the second-eldest child, she strove to protect and guide her younger siblings, wanting to set an example of herself and to help her busy parents. It wasn't a stretch to say she was competitive with her eldest sibling too; both had grown up with only each other for years and had decided on the same goal. They respected their parents' decision, sure, but for children as young as they were, it seemed like such a waste for their parents to have quit before they reached the peak. Thus, an agreement was born: they would grow up to succeed their parents, to go beyond and make their family known across the land. Naturally, the eldest set off first. Their parents held a firm belief that the world could only be experienced through adventure and were quite encouraging when one of their own wanted to pursue their dreams - at least when they came of age. When they found Elodie attempting to smuggle herself in her sibling's bag, they gently chastised her (after a laugh or two, much to Elodie's distaste) and told her she could leave in a few years. It felt like an eternity to her, but when the fated day came, Elodie practically threw herself off the family wagon in excitement. Her older sibling already had a head-start, and from the letters they had been sending home, it seemed the life of exploration was everything their parents had told them: unpredictable, dangerous, but ultimately rewarding.
