Always one for adventure and quite a bit of mishap, he has that can-do attitude you see in many explorers and yet David seems to take it to the next level by never turning it off! That seems to be an all around problem as this happy fellow has a perpetual smile even in the bleakest moments. Of course this is due to a deep seeded caring nature where he always wants to give off an air of reassurance and safety even in the face of some really scary situations and danger. And boy does danger follow him. Accidentally falling into a hive of temperamental Beedril or barreling into a herd of ornery Taurus, David always has the perchance of going where he should but he makes for a decent diplomat with a pretty decent skill when it comes to pulling people together and rallying troupes or making friends. They just need to be willing to listen instead of fight which is a rare feat out in the wilds away from town. Perhaps the one goal in his life that is stronger than going out there and finding characteristically eventful new places every explorer dreams of is making as many friends and connections as he can. A big part in doing this is naturally give the people he's interested in befriending a massive amount of food. To him food is that great binder that creates great bonds between people and the locations and foods in which are chosen in that moment provide excellent catalysts for memories to form. [attr="class","titeidol"]history David was born happily but with the news that his rear left leg would forever give him trouble as it was smaller and weaker than the rest. While it was true the leg was different it provided more anguish for his parents than it did for David. In fact he was a healthy lad growing up full of energy and with a keen sense to go out and do things around town. And with his parents—a retired Bewear Hunter named Harry and an ex-Outlaw Serperior named Ave—both being Civilians running a shop designed to sell only the best revival items to Explorers and Hunters off to anyone brave enough to face the wilds, David was exposed to all kinds of stories at a young age, both from his parents and from any traveler coming into their shop spreading seeds of adventure and heroism that inspired David at his core. With the young Stufful's head full of ideas of adventure and heroism, he thought it was about time for his own grand hunt. He sneakily packed everything he could from his parent's shop and their personal pantry. He took with him all of the money saved from birthdays and working around his parent's shop, designed exactly for this day, and as he set off he took a posting on his father's desk, something he was considering despite his retirement, then left without a word. The wild world was amazing as he expected. It was full of life as Pokemon flitted about. It was dizzying and hard to track anything with so many Pokemon going in all directions. And yet by sheer luck he did come across an outlaw. It was far from the devious Simisear the job listed but the Happiny no one would take for having any evil bones in its body was nothing to be trifled with. At first the Happiny invited David to relax and have an apple, as by this time he had eaten both Apples he had brought in his pack, and at her insistence for the Stufful to take a rest while she took watch he agreed and began to doze only to wake up with all his goods missing. Feeling horrible for being duped so easily, David headed back toward home, utterly defeated. While he didn't face physical repercussions for his actions he always took the fact that he failed so badly to heart. When Harry caught up to him not far from town he was met only with relief and concern. The grand hunt for an outlaw may not have been what David wanted but he will say later it sparked the desire just for adventure but will also admit the failure made him afraid to go after people with just how gullible and friendly his personality is.
