He can be slow to trust at first, viewing many with suspicion and not very eager to let anyone in to his little (some would say tiny) circle of friends. The mienfoo has a bit of a temper and isn’t afraid to flare up at someone who he think has offended himself or Nico. Most of the time, however, Callum isn’t too eager to go to blows unless it’s in someone’s defense. He’s mostly talk, and very easily dissuaded from actually fighting, except when someone is in danger. It’s also an incredibly simple task to make Callum sad. Depression comes quickly to him, sometimes out of the blue, and he prefers to keep to himself when this happens. The only person he really allows close is Nico. Once you do know him, Callum is hard to get rid of! He’s the hard working sort, and does everything for his friends with zeal. They need something found? He can do that! Need their house cleaned? He’s here for that, too! Even when he doesn’t enjoy a job, he works at it to the best of his ability, especially if it’s for the sake of a friend. Really, there’s no denying that Callum cares; he’s just a bit slow to get there. He’s honest and frank in his love for his friends, meaning everything that he says and genuinely wanting them to do well. He rarely lies, even if a lie would save others significant pain. Callum isn’t cruel about the truth, however; he’s just eager to tell everyone the truth, because the truth is what’s best for others. At the end of the day, he wants what’s best for his friends, and for everyone around him. Except for his enemies, that is. While it’s not particularly easy to make an enemy out of Callum, once he’s decided he dislikes someone, he is determined to do better than them in everything they do. They’re making friends? Callum will make more friends! They’re cooking good food? Callum will cook better food! It’s easy for Callum to jump into rivalries; true enemies, people he really, really hates? That’s harder. But once he does hate someone, he discards the rivalry and simply gives them the coldest shoulder he can. [attr="class","titeidol"]traits

[attr="class","titeidol"]history Born to a pair of mienshao hunters, Callum was taught order and loyalty from a young age. His parents were decent, if militant. They cracked down on their son’s temper, but the strong-willed, adamant young mienfoo kept his spirit. Most of the time, his parents were gone, leading Callum to grow up independant and without many friends. He kept to himself, only really interacting with strangers when pressured to or when they upset him. For a long time, Callum was resigned to loneliness and the life his parents had chosen for him. Things changed when they moved from the city where Callum’s parents had been based. When they came to the smaller village, the mienfoo became acquainted with a goomy by the name of Nico. They were sweet...and surrounded by people who only seemed to want to take advantage of them, rather than appreciate them for who they were. Well, the mienfoo quickly put an end to that! He chased away those that only sought to be close to Nico for their money, and the two became fast friends. However, Callum was not content to be under his parents thumb for much longer. When they both were adults, Callum managed to convince Nico to move to Elysia with him.
