"It's not good, even if it can be understandable understandable. When the two overlap, especially to the point where what feels good is what is right for everyone, merges...dickishness becomes easy to slip into." Isa briefly cocked her head around. While there was a more crude context to what she said, she nonetheless blushed in her attempt to avoid that.
For a bird with such a tight schedule Isa didn't uphold much pride. She did not feel she did enough to deserve it. Even when trying to understand the mystery dungeons, even when conducting business within the city, she didn't do a lot of actual work. People were still due to be rescued and spared life-threatening injuries. Pokemon in the Mystery Dungeons still attacked those that entered the mystery dungeons. She couldn't even grow to much a decent size, condemned to a handheld size. There were problems yet to handle. Still, she hummed, and repeated the phrase Astroth used: "Own my fluff." Instinctively, wings started to curl around a confused body. The very notion of charming those around her, even, seemed a tad observed. People were too busy with their own jobs, toiling with their quarries, to interact with a little bird like her.
While bullies weren't something Isa oft struggled with, others had different problems. Astroth seemed the type to get into a scuffle, but as Isa saw it, he spoke to both people more than just herself. But to be hunted down for a different feature, over jealousy, dimmed her mood. That would make life in the wilds difficult, with little structure and every need to prove oneself against the world. You could do anything and have anything done to you. The danger intrigued her, but it was still danger.
So, Isa nodded. "I'll try. Only so much I can lose, right?"
Small things. Like, if she prodded too far, possibly her whole livelihood. She vowed to stay out of the hospital and focused.
It'd definitely be the tallest order she'd taken on.
